About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher and Developer to join our team at Berenberg, a leading European private bank with over 430 years of experience. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development, maintenance, and improvement of our electronic product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform financial/liquidity/cost/performance modeling and in-depth quantitative research around market microstructure, transaction cost analysis, and complex forecasting and prediction models.
  • Develop and implement data services and APIs, as well as create reports using HTML and CSS.
  • Implement cloud data services in cloud computing environments, such as Amazon AWS, BMLL, and Refinitive.
  • Collaborate with the team to assess and improve our trading efficiency, best execution capabilities, and product development.
Requirements
  • PhD or Master's degree in a subject with quantitative content, such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical modeling techniques and machine learning concepts.
  • Experience with Python and proficiency in developing for production.
  • Knowledge of quantitative analytics, testing models, and technical documentation.
