Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with senior managers, directors, and BDO partners to enhance business delivery and optimize performance.
  • Support the governance and management of our comprehensive knowledge base, ensuring its accuracy, accessibility, and relevance.
  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and behavior change within the firm to achieve strategic business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure consistency in knowledge management practices and foster a knowledge-sharing mindset.
  • Provide central support for all knowledge requirements within BDO UK, acting as a resource and point of contact for colleagues seeking information or guidance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working within a professional services firm, ideally in a similar knowledge management role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including familiarity with SharePoint and other relevant platforms for knowledge management.
  • A genuine interest in knowledge management principles and best practices, coupled with a passion for team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects proactively and meet deadlines effectively.
  • A 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to support the team in achieving shared goals.
  • Essential workplace skills such as logical thinking, teamwork, and efficiency.
