As a Clinical Psychologist, you will work with older adults with functional and organic presentations, providing psychological/neuropsychological assessment, formulation, and therapy. You will also provide advice to colleagues and carers on psychological aspects of assessment, formulation, care, and treatment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and cohesive multidisciplinary team, including nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise under the supervision of more senior psychologists.

Key responsibilities:

* Provide high-quality, effective applied psychology services to older adults
* Provide effective psychological assessment and interventions to patients
* Work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for clinical governance of own work
* Undertake R&D activities for audit, policy, and service development
* Supervise and support the clinical activities of assistants and trainees

Requirements:

* Degree in psychology or related mental health field
* Doctorate in clinical, counselling or health psychology that confers eligibility for registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the range of care settings

Salary: \u00a346,148 to \u00a360,504 a year pro rata per annum
