About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team at Cameron Clarke Associates. As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of renewable energy by leading the design, procurement, installation, and maintenance of cutting-edge domestic and commercial PV and battery systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and renewable energy, with experience in project management and team leadership. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from site surveys to project completion, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Develop and implement project plans, including site surveys, electrical system design, and procurement
  • Manage and coordinate with internal teams, including installation teams, to ensure seamless project execution
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, including MCS standards and current electrical standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure technical excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring that all costs are accurately accounted for and managed within budget
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards
Requirements
  • Time served Electrical Apprenticeship or degree in Electrical engineering
  • Renewable Energy course modules or experience in the design and installation of solar installations
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
