Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team at AWWG. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating production processes and supporting the Product Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of design and proto samples, as well as salesmen sample tech sheets.
  • Work closely with the design team to process seasonal salesman samples and proto requests.
  • Manage proto fabrics and trims orders, request lab dips, and update the lab dip folder.
  • Support the Product Manager in liaising with factories on tech packs and design.
  • Oversee the management of Salesman Samples from initial order to delivery into showrooms.
  • Prepare and send out development sheets for new accessories and follow up on their status.
  • Liaise with the QC team and Design to determine pressing and packing for all styles based on fabrication, construction, and garment type.
  • Obtain recommended care instructions from mills and direct this information to the technical team to assign bulk care label instructions.
  • Update the product bible and any control charts for all developments and production.
  • Manage the line book and information contained therein, including style codes, names, sketches, colors, fabric weave, fabric content, features, and benefits of fabric.
  • Organize and control swatches, color standards, and other content for the line book.
  • Make seasonal merchandising and buy boards with sketches, style numbers, and colors organized by category and phased delivery.
  • Input basic information to the bible, ensuring accurate entry of intrastate codes, commodity codes, shipping terms, weight, and other details.
  • Raise and issue Purchase Orders for Salesman Samples.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within the fashion industry.
  • High School Diploma or above.
