Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Project Lead

**Job Type:** Full-time

**Industry:** Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Consultancy

**Location:** England

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team as a Project Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from phase 1/ground investigation stages through to technical reports and final invoice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from phase 1/ground investigation stages through to technical reports and final invoice.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions for complex commercial, residential, and high-rise building schemes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 1st class degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geology, Environmental Sciences, etc.
  • MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or Geoscience (ideally).
  • Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong understanding of geotechnical principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
