About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Director/Framework Director to lead our electrical and civils projects in the West London area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the scope of works is delivered in a safe and timely manner, meeting quality standards and financial objectives.
  • Set the overall standard on the project/contract, ensuring consistency and alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Build and develop the operational and project management team to deliver project requirements.
  • Line manage Project Managers, chair project team meetings, and ensure actions are recorded and closed out.
  • Manage the fit-to-start process to ensure timely mobilization and project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic updates and develop strategic plans.
  • Contribute to work winning at a strategic level.
  • Lead the development of detailed cost and resource forecasts.
  • Resolve operational and strategic issues.
  • Support the Business Unit MD in developing strategic plans.
  • Support the procurement of suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Lead the development and implementation of improvement actions.
  • Build, organize, and lead bid teams for key tenders.
  • Develop and implement tender strategy/win themes.
Requirements
  • Experience in delivering HV Transmission projects within 132kV to 400kV.
  • Experience in a Project Director or Senior Managerial role.
  • HNC/HND in civil or electrical engineering.
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
  • Experience of working on complex multi-discipline projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in project controls.
  • A true leader with passion for people development.
