**Role Description**
As the Executive Assistant to the Chairman of a dynamic Managed Services Provider, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chairman's multifaceted responsibilities, with a focus on overseeing marketing, business process engineering and more. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with a visionary leader in the IT industry, providing invaluable insights into the workings of a successful company.
**Responsibilities**:
**Administration and Diary Management**:
- Efficiently manage the Chairman's calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Take charge of administrative tasks, ensuring seamless operations and prioritizing tasks to enhance productivity.
- Plan and execute events, meetings, and conferences with precision and attention to detail.
**IT Competence**:
- Demonstrate proficiency in IT tools and software to handle tasks ranging from document preparation to managing digital communication platforms.
**Communication and Interpersonal Skills**:
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with C-level executives, clients, and other stakeholders.
**Financial Knowledge and Administration**:
- Support the Chairman with financial tasks, including expense management and basic financial reporting.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.
**Proactivity and Self-Dependence**:
- Demonstrate self-dependence and the ability to take initiative, making decisions in alignment with the Chairman's preferences and priorities, anticipate needs and proactively address them.
**Organizational Skills**:
- Maintain an organized and well-structured work environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines with ease.
- Ensure all documents and information are systematically cataloged and readily accessible.
**Other**:
- Possess a valid driver's license and willingness to drive as needed for various tasks and appointments.
- Comfortable in a home office environment and not allergic to dogs, as the role is primarily based at the Chairman's residence.
**Skills/Attributes Required**
- Previous experience as a senior/executive assistant, preferably in a similar role.
- Financial literacy and basic understanding of business and legal terminologies.
- Willingness to learn and explore different opportunities and ideas.
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication skills and professionalism.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
