VCA Managed Services (VMS) enhances Visa's consulting offerings by supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations, thereby helping clients gain a competitive edge and thrive in the digital landscape.

As the Senior Manager of Technical Solutions for VMS, you will play a pivotal role in expanding a vital managed services segment focused on Technology Strategy and Implementation. The Technology Strategy services empower clients to evaluate their existing technical frameworks, envision their desired future state, and outline a clear roadmap for long-term success. The Technology Implementation services build upon the achievements of Technology Strategy engagements, providing clients with the technical delivery teams necessary to realize their vision.

With the evolution of our Visa product suite and the introduction of more intricate options for clients, it is crucial to possess specialized knowledge of our capabilities to effectively provide solutions. You will be responsible for facilitating in-depth discussions with both clients and Visa stakeholders (including account and product teams) to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our products and services, identifying how our clients can maximize the use of our capabilities. Your proficiency in technical architecture, particularly within the banking and payments context, will enable you to accurately define development efforts in collaboration with technical resources. This expertise will also assist in exploring new opportunities that may encompass emerging use cases, fintech innovations, or industry verticals.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced consultant, adept at engaging with clients, a payments authority, and an entrepreneurial spirit capable of collaborating across Visa's client landscape. This role will identify common client requirements, develop offerings that leverage Visa's extensive capabilities, subject matter expertise, and third-party partnerships, appropriately price the solutions, present to clients, finalize sales, and oversee the delivery process. You will work alongside various internal and external partners to create, market, and implement solutions. Your ability to articulate the value proposition to clients, customize offerings based on client feedback, and ultimately secure sales will be paramount. Additionally, you will navigate interactions with diverse client stakeholders, including those in digital, data science, marketing, CRM, payments, and fraud/risk management.

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing employees to alternate between remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 designated days per week, as determined by leadership, with a general expectation of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in consulting and solution sales, with a proven ability to sell complex solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the payments landscape, including knowledge of virtual card payments, value-added corporate solutions, payment tokenization, issuer processing platforms, modern API concepts, technical integration, and file delivery.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, motivated by the opportunity to build a new business within a well-supported and growing area at Visa.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse initiatives from inception to completion, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, capable of measuring financial impacts and demonstrating the value of VMS engagements to both clients and Visa.
