National Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team at The Advocate Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small to medium customer accounts, with a focus on maximizing sales value and margins.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve budgeted targets for Net Sales Value (NSV), Gross Profit (GP), and volume
  • Identify margin growth opportunities and develop a plan for implementation
  • Maintain up-to-date business reporting and customer records
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key contacts within the account portfolio
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the customer experience
  • Manage time effectively to ensure clear communication with customers
  • Prepare business proposals with the support of various internal functions
  • Deliver innovative solutions to customer challenges and drive account retention
About You:
  • Experience in the foodservice sector, ideally in education or healthcare
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written business English skills
  • Structured selling skills and an ability to handle objections
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
