Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations
- Manage the front desk area, ensuring a clean and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Answer and direct phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general information about the practice.
- Process patient registrations, update medical records, and maintain accurate patient information.
- Scheduling and Coordination
- Coordinate patient appointments, surgeries, and procedures, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling.
- Manage patient waitlists, communicate with patients, and provide updates on appointment status.
- Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to doctors, nurses, and other staff members, including preparing medical records, reports, and other documents.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Patient Communication
- Communicate effectively with patients, responding to their inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Provide clear and concise information about medical procedures, treatments, and test results.
- Team Collaboration

- Education and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in a medical or administrative role, preferably in a similar setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
- Personal Qualities
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a positive and professional attitude.
