Position Overview

Senior GPU Architect (RTL ASIC Graphics)

Are you an innovative technologist with expertise in GPU architecture? This role offers an opportunity to advance your career in a senior, hands-on capacity with one of the foremost developers of graphics and GPU technology.

In this position, you will work alongside a team of accomplished GPU Architects and engage with a demanding clientele to gather insights and requirements for GPU development, while staying abreast of the latest industry advancements.

Your responsibilities will include investigating and crafting comprehensive architectural feature specifications, as well as conducting in-depth analyses to devise solutions that fulfill essential power, performance, area, and bandwidth criteria. You will collaborate with the research, modeling, and product teams to establish a forward-thinking technology roadmap.

Work Environment:

This role supports a hybrid work model, allowing for two days a week in the office, with flexibility to work from various locations or potentially fully remote within the UK. Visa sponsorship is available.

Candidate Profile:

  • A technologist with a strong curiosity, who thrives in collaborative and problem-solving environments, particularly in cutting-edge technology.
  • Experience in hardware/GPU design and architecture within large, intricate systems.
  • Solid understanding of contemporary 3D graphics and/or compute APIs, including Vulkan, D3D12, and OpenCL.
  • Familiarity with digital ASIC design methodologies and constraints.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Degree in a relevant technical field; MSc or PhD is a plus.
