TheRole:

Responsible for thepreparation and the onsite delivery of our traffic lightinstallations. The role requires you to manage a team of around tenpeople ensuring they are suitably prepared to arrive at our clientssite to complete our installation works within the programmedtimescales. As the supervisor whilst our installations are takingplace your main priority is to ensure our H&S procedures arefollowed to ensure the safety of our teams our client and thepublic always.
This role requires our teams to be flexibleas the service we provide is available to our clients 24/7/365 daysa year. As such this will involve you working days and occasionalweekends.

EssentialExperience:

  • Theability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Theability to work at heights
  • Full driving licenseNo more than 6 points
  • Travel and stay away fromthe UK
  • The role will be 80/20 split between thesite and depot work
  • Experienced in thesupervision of onsite works
  • Worked within aHighways environment
  • The ability to prioritisetheir own and the activities of others

DesirableExperience:

  • Basicelectrical knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of trafficsignals theory (phases/stages/detection)

DesirableQualifications:

  • Cityand Guilds qualification or equivalent in highwayinstallations
  • Sector 8 Accreditation Health andSafety qualifications including NRSWA G39 andECS)
  • IT literate

Training:

Where required we may need you to attend some additionalsupervisor training courses to aid you in developing in thisrole.

You must have the right towork in the UK and have a maximum of 6 points (preferably clean /no bans in thepast)
