The Role:

Responsible for the preparation and the onsite delivery of our traffic light installations. The role requires you to manage a team of around ten people ensuring they are suitably prepared to arrive at our clients site to complete our installation works within the programmed timescales. As the supervisor whilst our installations are taking place your main priority is to ensure our H&S procedures are followed to ensure the safety of our teams our client and the public always.
This role requires our teams to be flexible as the service we provide is available to our clients 24/7/365 days a year. As such this will involve you working days and occasional weekends.

Essential Experience:

  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • The ability to work at heights
  • Full driving license No more than 6 points
  • Travel and stay away from the UK
  • The role will be 80/20 split between the site and depot work
  • Experienced in the supervision of onsite works
  • Worked within a Highways environment
  • The ability to prioritise their own and the activities of others

Desirable Experience:

  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of traffic signals theory (phases/stages/detection)

Desirable Qualifications:

  • City and Guilds qualification or equivalent in highway installations
  • Sector 8 Accreditation Health and Safety qualifications including NRSWA G39 and ECS)
  • IT literate

Training:

Where required we may need you to attend some additional supervisor training courses to aid you in developing in this role.

You must have the right to work in the UK and have a maximum of 6 points (preferably clean / no bans in the past)
