Main Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent patient care.
- Patient Care: Prioritize and provide individualized, holistic care to children and young people, working in partnership with families and the multidisciplinary team.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that high standards of quality and safety are maintained, adhering to Trust and national policies and guidelines.
- Education and Development: Support the development of nursing staff, providing opportunities for learning and growth.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with other departments and teams to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent patient outcomes.
- Qualifications: Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN) or equivalent, with current NMC registration.
- Experience: Proven experience in a paediatric setting, with a strong track record of leadership and management.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team.
- Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of paediatric care, including sepsis management, children's safeguarding, and respiratory illness.
