Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Team Leader to join our Endoscopy team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses to deliver high-quality services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
    • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Patient Care
    • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Team Development
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled nurses to deliver high-quality services.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective team development and succession planning.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Registered Nursing qualification on the NMC register.
    • Nursing degree qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Post-registration experience in endoscopy or a related field.
    • Leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
