About the Role

We are seeking a fun-loving and motivated Support Worker to join our team in Dumfries. You will support individuals with learning disabilities and mobility issues to live independently in their own homes.

The people we support enjoy a range of activities, including going out for lunch, picnics, art groups, swimming, knitting, jigsaws, and parties. They are always up for trying new things, so we are looking for inventive people who are up for the challenge.

Our support team is diverse and works well together to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • You will support with medication administration, cooking, and personal care.
  • You will maintain the homes of people supported and help manage their finances.
  • You will work a variety of shifts, including some weekends and waking nights.
Requirements

We are looking for reliable and honest individuals who respect the people we support and their homes. You should be able to build trust and have the best interests of the individuals at heart.
