About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Talent Finder. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism, promoting their independence, and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the team leader to develop and implement personalized support plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals with autism, promoting their confidence and self-esteem
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household management
  • Encourage and support individuals to engage in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with individuals, families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in autism support
Requirements
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
  • Good computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and their families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to assist with mobility and transfers
