Clinical Research Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a vital role in the management of clinical trials, working closely with clinical investigators, research nurses, and other members of the research team to ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality research services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a defined portfolio of studies and caseload of patients participating in research trials in NHS care. You will contribute to the development of the speciality service, manage performance and finance of your trials, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to join our team and contribute to the development of research awareness across the trust to all staff groups.
Main Duties- Manage studies in collaboration with existing research staff, acting as the main point of contact for participants and carrying out tasks including identifying patients who may be suitable for the trial, liaising with clinicians, and attending clinical team meetings to promote research participation.
- Work with investigators to recruit patients to trials where appropriate and manage performance of the study.
