Salary: Scale 5, £27,789 - £29,874 per annum
Hours: 37.00 hours per week
Contract: Temporary for 2 Years
Role SummaryWe are seeking individuals who possess the skills to build and sustain relationships with victims and witnesses, aiming to enhance their confidence and satisfaction with the services provided.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Perform a Needs Assessment for victims and witnesses to identify and address their requirements, ensuring their presence in court and minimizing the occurrence of ineffective trials.
2. Collaborate with the Crown Prosecution Service and law enforcement regarding victim and witness matters to facilitate effective case management.
3. Engage with external organizations and agencies as outlined in the Contact Directory to meet the needs of witnesses.
4. Establish and maintain administrative and IT systems for the efficient management of caseloads and documentation.
5. Ensure witnesses are properly notified for trial following the correct procedures.
6. Notify relevant personnel of any potential issues concerning witnesses that require resolution.
7. Implement appropriate measures at court to support vulnerable or intimidated witnesses, as well as those with special needs.
Qualifications RequiredEducated to QCF Level passes or possess equivalent work experience that demonstrates comparable skills.
Experience RequiredExperience in a fast-paced customer service environment with regular direct interaction with clients.
