Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Pertemps Telford. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for overseeing the incoming goods functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of shipments, and maintaining a high level of stock accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the incoming goods process, ensuring prompt and accurate processing of shipments
  • Work closely with the purchasing team to resolve damages, short deliveries, and supplier returns
  • Collaborate with the warehouse manager and team to maintain high stock accuracy levels
  • Ensure clear and prompt communication with the Goods In team to resolve issues quickly and preventatively
  • Replenish stock, approve cycle counts, and conduct stock adjustments as needed
  • Pick sales orders and assist with other warehouse functions, including workload planning and management

Requirements:

  • 3 years of previous experience in warehouse and Goods In roles
  • Experience with machinery, forklift, pump truck, vans, and pallet wrapper
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Adaptability to change
  • Good teamworking skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive and can-do attitude
  • Physical fitness to handle items of various weights and sizes

Working Hours: 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £12.82 per hour
