Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our Board of Trustees at Inspire North. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of our organization.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the Board and senior management team.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of our financial plans and budgets.
  • Ensure the effective management of our financial risks and opportunities.
  • Provide expert advice on financial matters to the Board and senior management team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, partners, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant with significant experience in financial leadership and governance.
  • Proven track record of strategic financial planning and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of working in a regulated sector, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of IT and Employer Health & Safety, with the ability to provide strategic guidance.
