Get Baked is a rapidly expanding bakery business that is committed to innovation and growth. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our leadership team and drive our company forward.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Financial Director to lead our Finance department and play a pivotal role in delivering accurate forecasts, budgets, and monthly accounts. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, commercial business knowledge, and experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business, accounts, reporting cycles, and financial performance.
  • Take ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement with stakeholders and the Directors, using keen judgement to manage and escalate issues and solutions effectively.
  • Deliver accurate forecasts, budgets, and monthly accounts, and present insightful Business Review Packs to influence key strategic decisions.
  • Continuously improve the quality of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and commercial decision-making, ensuring all stakeholders receive the right support at the right time.
Requirements
  • Newly qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent), or part-qualified and actively pursuing studies (study support available).
  • Commercial business knowledge and FP&A experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ambitious, determined, and eager to engage with teams, you are driven to challenge the norm, status quo, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Team player with a strong motivation to succeed, resilience, well-organized, and structured approach.
  • Able to foster productive relationships across the businesses with multi-level contacts.
  • Experience of financial management systems.
  • ERP systems experience is a bonus.
