Accounts Payable Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team at KBM Training & Recruitment. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who wants to contribute to the financial operations of a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Verify invoice details against purchase orders and other documents.
  3. Ensure proper coding of invoices to general ledger accounts.
  4. Manage vendor accounts, including reviewing, reconciling, and resolving discrepancies.
  5. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  6. Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
  7. Assist in month-end closing processes and reporting.
  8. Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues.
  9. Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports as needed.
  10. Assist in developing and implementing accounts payable policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  2. Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  5. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
