Position Overview
The Engineering Assurance Manager will play a pivotal role in supervising technical assurance initiatives within the Dreadnought programme. This position entails orchestrating technical assurance activities among diverse stakeholders to facilitate the seamless integration of Dreadnought into SDA/RR modifications through the Futures Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the Engineering Assurance for the Dreadnought Alliance Tier 1 (SDA/Customer)
  • Formulate and revise the Engineering Management Plan and Engineering Assurance Management Plan in accordance with the Joint Design Authority
  • Implement the Joint Design Authority Technical Governance Process to supersede the Approving Authority Technical Governance Process
  • Oversee the technical governance components of the Dreadnought Alliance, including the transition to Joint Design Authority Technical Governance
  • Ensure that the Technical Risk Management strategies within the Dreadnought Alliance effectively mitigate both current and prospective technical risks

Essential Qualifications
  • Experience in engineering assurance or a related field
  • Expertise in maritime engineering or a comparable discipline
  • Degree in engineering or a STEM-related field, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with submarines
  • Strong skills in risk management
