Senior Occupational Therapist Neurology Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Neurological Rehabilitation service to recruit an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and forward-thinking neurology team.
The successful candidate will provide Occupational Therapy assessments and intervention in both the inpatient and community setting to patients with a wide range of Neurological conditions, including MS, Brain injury, and Spinal Cord Injury.
Main Duties- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify problems and develop treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic intervention to patients within the Neurorehabilitation setting.
- Develop and delegate rehabilitation programs to Rehabilitation Assistants based on their level of competence.
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapy Lead to monitor service performance and develop the service to meet the challenging needs of the pathway.
- Attend meetings with the team and families to discuss progress, rehabilitation programs, and discharge plans.
- Provide supervision and developmental guidance to students and Band 5 Occupational Therapists.
