Health and Safety Professional

**Job Summary**
Thorn Baker Group is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe working environment for our employees and visitors by implementing best practices and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct regular safety inspections and investigations of incidents, dangerous occurrences, health issues, and near misses to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Provide expert advice and support to on-site and office-based staff on all aspects of our Company's health and safety, environmental, and energy systems and procedures.
- Source, plan, and deliver training to employees to ensure it meets recognized standards.
- Assess the competence of subcontractors to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to the development of operating procedures and other aspects of our Safety, Health, Environmental, and Energy Management Systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and write method statements to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
**Requirements:**
- Relevant experience in health and safety.
- Preferably experience in a health and safety role within the civil engineering/infrastructure sector.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
