About the Role

Pertemps Plymouth Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Trainer to join their team. As a Health and Safety Trainer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training programs to clients and employees, leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide a first-class virtual training experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to drive the training agenda and develop innovative training solutions.
  • Design and deliver CITB SMSTS, SSSTS, and Health and Safety Awareness training programs.
  • Work with external organizations to develop accredited courses and schemes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market needs, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Assist the HR Manager in conducting training needs analysis for internal employees.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and employees, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in providing virtual training sessions.
  • Proficiency in using online training tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Qualifications
  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health.
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 5 in Occupational Safety and Health.
  • Health and Safety Diploma.
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Part 2, NEBOSH Units A, B, C, and D.
  • Diploma Safety Management Level 6.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Membership of Chartered Health and Safety Professional (CMIOSH).
  • Experience in delivering H&S training within the construction environment.
  • Recognized teaching qualification (such as PTLLS).
