About the Role
EKC Group is seeking a highly experienced and innovative individual to join our management team as the Head of English. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our English department and ensuring that our curriculum delivery is of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of experienced English teachers to deliver outstanding results
- Develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of all learners
- Ensure that all teaching and learning activities are of the highest quality and meet the required standards
- Manage a delegated budget to support the delivery of the English curriculum
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
Requirements
- Hold a degree-level qualification and a recognized teaching qualification (DET/PGCE/CertEd)
- Demonstrable teaching practice at good or outstanding level
- Experience of curriculum planning and development
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team to deliver results
