Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care and support to children in our residential care setting.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Collaborate with external agencies, such as social services and healthcare providers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a children's residential care setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and external partners.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Standards Act 2000.
