About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resources Project Coordinator to join our team at the City of Birmingham. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of HR services to our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including coordinating projects, managing databases, and preparing reports.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the recruitment and selection process, including developing job postings, screening applicants, and conducting interviews.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to employees, including designing and delivering training programs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of HR initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a project coordinator or generalist role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, including Workday and Kronos.
