Position Summary
Scottish Borders Council is on the lookout for a proficient and innovative architectural technologist to enhance the in-house Architectural Team within the newly established Estates Division, which encompasses all property-related operations for the Council. The workload is diverse, ranging from feasibility assessments to new construction initiatives, serving various departments within the Council, other public entities, and select external clients. This role offers individuals the chance to take on direct project responsibilities while being integrated into a broader team environment.
The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with all teams in the Division, particularly with the Estates Strategy and Property Management units. The successful applicant will assist in the functions of Condition Surveying, Compliance, and Property Management within these teams.
Key Qualifications
HNC / HND in Building Technology or an equivalent qualification.
A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this position.
