Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join our team at Holt Recruitment Ltd. As a Mobile HGV Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and safety of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of HGVs to ensure vehicles are operating safely and efficiently.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and rectify faults and issues with HGVs.
  • Travel across various locations to provide on-site maintenance and repair services, ensuring minimal disruption to fleet operations.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including DVSA requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including service reports, parts used, and any additional repairs required.
  • Provide a high level of customer service, communicating effectively with clients and drivers to keep them informed of work progress and any issues identified.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment both on-site and while traveling.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician, with a strong background in HGV maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent mechanical and diagnostic skills, with experience using the latest diagnostic equipment.
  • A valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV driver's license is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel to meet the demands of the role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
