Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Regulatory Change Business Partner to ensure we are effectively responding to Regulatory change over the next 12 months.

This is a critical role with responsibility for creating the conditions for leadership, management, colleagues, and customers to effectively understand and engage in the development and completion of actions to ensure compliance with the Regulator for Social Housing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective regulatory change management processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and assess regulatory risks and opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on regulatory compliance and change management.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Board, leadership, colleagues, and customers.
  • Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to ensure colleagues understand regulatory requirements and change management processes.

What You Will Need

  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise own work and coordinate with other colleagues.
  • Experience in a regulatory or compliance role within the housing sector or a related field and strong understanding and working knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures required within the social housing sector in England.
  • Experience of compliance practices, regulatory changes and revising policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, including staying informed about emerging trends, best practices, and evolving requirements.
