About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organised individual to join our team as a Senior Emergency Response Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver our services to those in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of our services across multiple teams, ensuring effective working relationships and high-quality service delivery.
  • Listen to feedback from volunteers and service users, making improvements to our ways of working and collaborating with external partners to grow and develop our offer.
  • Inspire and empower teams to achieve high standards, meeting local and organisational targets.
  • Respond to emergency situations, including domestic fires, major incidents, and humanitarian crises, such as refugees and asylum seekers.
Requirements
  • Experience of maintaining effective working relationships, ideally with volunteers.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining external relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience in delivering on organisational priorities and project management.
  • Strong IT proficiency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of operating plans and excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of service quality improvement and ability to respond to emergency situations.
