We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Placemaker Manager to join our team at Places Leisure. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our leisure centre.
As Assistant Placemaker Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating catering and retail operations to maximize sales and profitability. This will include managing stock orders, conducting sales audits, and leading and managing employees in the catering team.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the team responds to all product enquiries from prospective and current members, and for motivating your team to create opportunities by being proactive and productive.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience of working within a similar role, ideally within a leisure/health centre environment. You will also need to have well-rounded knowledge of customer service and administration.
Ideally, you will have previous management experience and a good understanding of all aspects of running a successful leisure centre, from membership acquisition to maximizing sales and rota management.
Above all, you will need to have a genuine passion for keeping fit and creating active places and healthy people.
