Job Description

Job Title: Production Coordinator

Location: Onsite

Type: Contract

Job Description

The team at Planet Pharma is responsible for the packaging aspect of the business, ensuring that customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met and correct packaging is used to pack the correct product, which needs to be delivered to the right place at the right time.

  • Support the Supply Chain Manager in maintaining the SAP (ERP) system updated with material movement.
  • Facilitate the flow of information with Quality and Finance departments.
  • Support the Supply Chain and Operations to ensure that all assets, processes, and procedures meet Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements.
  • Translate forecasts into production schedules, batch allocations, and shipping tables.
  • Monitor and accommodate changes requested by customers.
  • Raise change controls where necessary and update/create new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support the team with the process of moving goods for products and materials through the SAP system, including purchasing, receiving, and moving from site to site.
  • Raise quotations and invoices to clients as required.
  • Place purchase orders for applicators and finished products in SAP.
  • Ensure all Supply Chain documentation is generated, maintained, and stored in compliance with SOPs and to meet supply requirements.
  • Monitor and update the KPIs of contractors.
  • Update and keep accurate records for Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA).
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all suppliers.

Requirements:

  • A degree is desirable but not essential, depending on the candidate's relevant experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate diplomatic skills.
  • Proficient (excellent) in English verbal and written communication skills to convey and receive ideas and instructions to/from others within and outside the organization.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, management, suppliers, and customers.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
