About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Director of Care and Development at Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the strategic development and operational delivery of our care services, ensuring the highest possible standards for the children and families we support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our care strategy, working closely with our clinical and operational teams.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, family-centred care that meets the needs of our children and families.
  • Manage and develop our care teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure they have the skills and resources they need to deliver excellent care.
  • Work closely with our governance and quality teams to ensure that our care services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including our Board of Trustees, funders, and partners.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of leading care services in a similar setting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and improving outcomes for children and families.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of care professionals.
  • Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of children's palliative care, with the ability to lead and develop our care teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care and improving outcomes for children and families.
