Bishop Challoner School is a thriving educational institution that fosters a supportive community where every individual can grow and thrive. As a Breakfast Club Supervisor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up the Breakfast Club area, ensuring it is ready for pupils from 7:15 am.
  • Supervise nursery children, booked and sibling drop, from 8:30 to 8:45, when Nursery staff take over their care.
  • Clear away all resources and equipment safely at the end of each session.
  • Contribute to the daily management and development of the Breakfast Club, promoting a positive atmosphere and high standards of behavior.
  • Liaise with relevant staff regarding individual pupils' needs and ensure consistent management.
  • Adhere to risk assessment recommendations and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
  • Assist in planning engaging activities, ensuring a good range of age-appropriate options daily.
  • Promote the wellbeing of children and staff, maintaining a professional manner and dress code at all times.
  • Liaise with parents regarding their children's attendance at Breakfast Club, referring other enquiries to school staff.

Requirements:

  • Food Hygiene Level 2 (minimum)
  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Up-to-date qualifications and relevant training
