Semco Maritime is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Services Team Lead to join our E&C team. As a key member of our project controls team, you will be responsible for developing and managing project controls services for our E&C department.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project controls processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
- Support the Planning Governance Manager and Cost Control Manager in implementing and maintaining project control processes across the portfolio of projects.
- Collaborate with the business services team to ensure alignment of project controls processes with business objectives.
- Drive ownership and accountability among project team members to manage changes to the work scope.
- Liaise with client project controls functions and management to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for controlling projects, including the establishment and management of project performance indicators.
- Ensure the correct application of project controls tools and methodologies.
- Support the identification and reporting of schedule and cost risks and opportunities, and support the management of change, growth, and variation.
- Support the Planning Governance Manager and Cost Control Manager in developing Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis (SRA, CRA) procedures and guidelines.
- Analyze project data to enable early identification of problems and drive positive behaviors towards mitigating actions.
- Support E&C Cost Engineers with analysis of cost report data.
- Experience on full project lifecycles within a project controls or project engineering function.
- Contract knowledge – experience in various forms of EPC contracting.
- Experience with an integrated project controls system.
- Experience in Microsoft 365 data collection and analysis tools, including PowerBI.
- Strong working knowledge of project controls theory and practices.
- Acceptance of feedback and responsibility for improving performance.
- Delivery-focused and committed to achieving project and company goals.
- Formal Project Controls Qualification (Cost or Planning Pathway).
