We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join our team at GSL Education. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students who face behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive student outcomes.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group mentoring to students with behavioural needs, focusing on building resilience and self-awareness.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create individual behaviour plans that address specific student needs.
  • Monitor and report on students' progress and behaviour, using data to inform instruction and drive student growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school environment that promotes respect, empathy, and learning.
Requirements:
  • A strong passion for supporting students' behavioural and emotional needs, with a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to make positive changes.
  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges is a plus, but not required.
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
