NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled SAP SD Functional Consultant to join our dynamic Managed Services team.

In this role, you will provide expert-level support to a diverse portfolio of UK and global clients, ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of their SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional 2nd and 3rd line advisory and consultative support to our client base, addressing complex technical and functional challenges within the SD module.
  • Analyze, configure, and implement tailored solutions to meet specific client requirements, collaborating effectively with Functional and Development Consultants as needed.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication regarding project progress, deliverables, and potential roadblocks.
  • Conduct thorough peer reviews of proposed and implemented solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our clients' operations.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems, particularly within the Sales & Distribution module.
  • Expert knowledge of SD functionalities, including rebates, condition contracts, inter-company processes, pricing, advanced ATP and backorder processing, and international trade.
  • Cross-functional expertise across FICO, MM, PP, and WM modules to effectively address integrated business processes.
  • Functional understanding of sales-related IDocs and setup procedures.
  • Proven ability to design, configure, test, and document complex functional solutions within SAP SD.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and concise interaction with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
