Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated Overnight Care Support Specialists to join our team, working on a rotating schedule of 4 nights on and 4 nights off, from 21:45 to 07:15 hours, contributing to a total of 33.5 hours per week.
In this role, you will provide essential support to children and young individuals aged 8 to 17, ensuring they have a peaceful and restful night. Your responsibilities will include engaging with the residents to promote a calming environment, addressing their needs as they arise, and maintaining their safety and well-being throughout the night. Additionally, you will perform general housekeeping tasks within the facility.
As a key member of our 24-hour care team, you will collaborate closely with a skilled group of caregivers, receiving comprehensive support in your role.

Our facility is a specially designed home for eleven young individuals, all of whom have specific disabilities or complex health needs.

Candidate Profile
While prior experience in a care role is not mandatory, a solid understanding of child care is essential. The residents may exhibit challenging behaviors, so it is crucial that you possess compassion, strong communication skills, and a calm, professional demeanor. Basic IT skills and the ability to adapt to various situations are also necessary, along with a genuine motivation to provide exceptional care.
You will be joining a successful and experienced team, and we will equip you with the training and support needed to excel in this position. Completion of a Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma will be required.
