Senior User Experience Designer

We are seeking a talented Senior User Experience Designer to join our team at Autodesk. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our cloud solutions serving the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities- Create compelling user experience artifacts, including wireframes, conceptual diagrams, task flows, storyboards, prototypes, and documentation, to gain strategic alignment and encourage innovation within and across the organization.
- Compare, contrast, and prioritize alternative approaches to meet design objectives, using judgment to suggest optimal solutions to design problems that balance customer learning needs, business constraints, and technological realities.
- Assist in customer research activities during the planning, strategy development, and early design of solutions.
- Meet with customers and development partners to validate designs and make iterative improvements.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to define great experiences from initial concept through successful implementation.
- Partner with the development team to drive successful implementation of user experience design specifications.
- Advocate and contribute to the maturing of experience design discipline at the team and company levels.
- Lead design-thinking exercises to break through organizational silos and collaboratively solve complex design challenges.
- 4+ years of professional design experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with experience in working cross-functional teams in problem definition and analysis, understanding customer workflows, creating prototypes and designs that solve customer problems.
- Quality portfolio of recent professional User Experience project work.
- Ability to visualize and prototype intended solutions at various levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations to highly technical documents and diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas to their essence.
- Comfortable in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, can adjust to changing priorities.
- Skilled in human-centred design methods and practice.
- Demonstrated experience in research - interviews, ethnography, user testing, etc.
- Ability to work on a range of projects, from vague to well-defined, simple to complex, implementation to innovation and drive them from concept to conclusion.
- Bachelor's or equivalent work experience.
- Experience applying UX within Agile development environments.
- Experience working with 3D graphics and/or Autodesk products.
- Experience with user research, analytics, and remote testing platforms.
- Experience in large, distributed, enterprise organisations.
