About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our Community Nursing Team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our patients to live independently at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist qualified nursing staff in the delivery of direct and indirect patient care
  • Provide support and assistance to patients, carers, and the multi-disciplinary team
  • Maintain high clinical standards and adhere to Trust policies and procedures
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Knowledge and understanding of community care philosophy and procedures
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in care or equivalent level of skill and knowledge gained through experience and competence assessment
  • Previous experience of working in a health or social care setting
