Job Description

Role Overview

Datasource Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Rail Project Planner to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing expert planning and scheduling services to our clients in the rail sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules, including Level 1 and Level 2 schedules.
  • Support project teams with planning-related responsibilities, including contract management and reporting.
  • Participate in project and programme planning and progress meetings.
  • Identify and maintain programme/project milestone and schedule interface activities.
  • Support the planning and scheduling processes required to manage contracts and contractor schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to NEC contract processes for management of schedule data and submissions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in rail infrastructure projects, ideally with a background in construction.
  • Expertise in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis.
  • Proficiency with multiple discipline-specific software applications, such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications.
