Senior Project Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Planner to join our team and contribute to the success of our defence and aerospace projects.
About the RoleThe Senior Project Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, aligning with project objectives, milestones, and deadlines. They will work closely with the project management team to track progress, update schedules, and forecast project timelines.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Project Planner, preferably within the defence, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries. They will be proficient in project planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the project management team to track progress and update schedules.
- Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and potential bottlenecks in project schedules.
- Provide regular reports on project status, including progress, variance analysis, and critical path reviews.
- Support the preparation of project plans, bids, and proposals, ensuring accurate planning and forecasting.
- A competitive starting salary of between £45-55,000 per annum.
