The Vision for Education - Newcastle team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentor to join our team. As a Learning Mentor, you will work with young people who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, providing individualized support to help them overcome barriers to their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to support young people's academic and social development
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to help young people build confidence and self-esteem
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for young people
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support plans, making adjustments as needed
