About the Role
Newcastle College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Mentor to join a passionate team who are dedicated to supporting students in overcoming barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with learners, internal colleagues, parents/carers, and external providers to identify learners who require assistance.
- Provide personalised support, motivation, and guidance to help students achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive and empowering learning environment.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education.
- Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evening work, and supporting at our external campuses.
