As a key member reporting to the Head of People Operations, you will integrate into a well-established, experienced, and high-achieving team within a company that is committed to fostering employee growth and professional development.

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.


Additional Benefits Include:

Key Responsibilities:


Employee Relations:
  • Assist the People Operations Business Partners in managing employee relations casework, including disciplinary actions, grievances, conduct, and capability matters.
  • Support the development and maintenance of performance management systems and enhance managerial skills in this area.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and best practices while assisting with administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Provide guidance to managers throughout relevant policies and procedures.
  • Lead the management of casework related to absence and health issues, including tracking long-term sick cases and offering advice and recommendations to managers.

Training and Development:
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of HR training programs across the organization, covering topics such as skills enhancement workshops, performance management, and legislative updates.
  • Support managers in creating personal development plans for team members and monitor progress.
  • Assist in coaching conversations to facilitate the ongoing development of talent.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of development programs to promote succession planning.
  • Coordinate attendance for internal and external training sessions as necessary.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Research and draft new HR policies, update employment terms and conditions, and implement new procedures as required.
  • Ensure consistency in approach across various departments.
  • Engage in recruitment activities, including CV screening, interviewing, and participation in assessment days.
  • Monitor statistics and trends, contributing to reporting efforts.
  • Provide practical support and coaching to managers to ensure adherence to policies and best practices.
